Alessandro Michele Named As Valentino’s New Creative Director
Alessandro Michele has been appointed as Valentino's new creative director, ushering in a new era of innovation and creativity for the renowned fashion house. Michele stepped down from Gucci in November 2022 and the announcement ends much industry speculation about where he would go next.

Michele will take over from Pierpaolo Piccioli, a beloved figure in the industry, who resigned from Valentino last week after over twenty years with the brand. He will begin his new role at Valentino's headquarters, located near the Spanish Steps, next week. His first collection for the brand is expected to debut at Paris Fashion Week in September.
